I’m originally from Mexico, and I’ve been living in the Pacific Northwest since 2017. At some point the rain stopped feeling annoying and just became part of life. I also got into cycling here, which still feels a little funny to me, but I love it.
I work in tech, and I’m still probably more optimistic than I should be. I still want the future to be good. Space stuff. Curing diseases. People actually learning from each other. Maybe that sounds cheesy, but whatever.
Lately I’ve been especially interested in AI, partly because it’s exciting and partly because it’s a little unsettling. I also want to spend more time building hardware again. After spending so much time around software, there’s something nice about working on things you can actually hold.
I’m not totally sure what this blog will become yet. Probably some mix of technology, travel, and whatever else I can’t stop thinking about for long enough to write down.
Anyway, here it is.
